@jodyvance @CityofVancouver @ParkBoard It’s really just another level of bureaucracy — at the cost of taxpayers — that we don’t need. Most cities have a parks department that is embedded into local government. Not a separate board.

Also, partisan politics in local government is ridiculous. That needs to go too.

@chapappay That’s quite typical of Vancouver. I moved from the prairies 20+ years ago and very quickly noticed that Vancouverites think you’re insane if you’re friendly towards them.

@CEdwardsTSN This is Shawnne when we all walked around Copenhagen on January 1, 2014. We had the day off from the World Juniors in Malmö, Sweden, and were enjoying walking around and seeing the mess left over from New Year’s Eve. Shawnne will be missed.

If @BCHwyPatrol are going to focus on ticketing drivers, could they please enforce the law prohibiting hogging the left lane? It’s supposed to be a ticketable offence. If cars in the lane to your right are the same speed, or passing you, you’re in the wrong lane.

@GMillerTSN Congrats on such a long career, Gord. I remember you on CBC Edm in the late 1980s. It was around that time that an 8 year-old me decided I wanted to be in TV. Here we are 37 years after that, and we work together. Who thunk it?

@TristanJer Yeah. It’s called “common courtesy” and it’s really not common. I’ve started making a point of calling people out on that. Especially in airports. It’s rude and a nuisance to everyone else around them.
