Iman Shalouf, a Palestinian woman who was seven months pregnant, died along with her unborn baby from critical injuries sustained in an Israeli strike earlier in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.

Her unborn baby was seen wrapped in a bloodstained shroud.

The killing comes amid a sharp escalation in Israeli attacks across Gaza, which have killed more than 1,360 Palestinians since the so-called ceasefire took effect, including more than 310 children.
