to not become a sinner. because in the end they are just two mentally unhealthy girls, and seeing someone endlessly give and give and give and sacrifice yourself for you and be willing to accept anything you do with so much kindness is doomed to make you feel like the devil
i like how “my god, my universe” translates into zomst and how class situation plays a role in sua’s god-like image. she is powerful and kind, ahe offers salvation to mizi, she is merciful, forgiving and loves unconditionally. all she wants is for mizi to rely on her, which is +
from mizi’s already low sense of self worth and tendency to blame herself. sua needs to be a god (feel in control, feel like she matters, probably), and for that she needs mizi to be believer. mizi cannot manage without her god, but if sua is her god, there is no way for mizi+
Response to oomf but I feel like it needs to be said in a separate post. Both when Karma came out and now, I will keep pointing to the fact that this series is about love. Imperfect, unhealthy, tragic, but love. Nobody is "evil"; all characters ideally want to be together.
@EROTICESOTERICA lol. one could draw a parallel between them both wanting their partners to hit them, although its for different reasons and achieved differently, that is a similarity of some sorts, yeah. but this scene??? ivan never wanted till to rely on him like that😭 quite the opposite
sua’s reassuring words are what ends up freaking mizi out. while her care is genuine, it’s also coddling and taking away the responsibility from mizi, which mizi immediately recognizes. her saying she’s not some pet to be kept around the house feels like a direct reference to +
walking around my room feeling myself going insane. cant even words my thoughts theres too many she just makes me ill. the dependance on love and conditionality and unconditional of it. so different yet paralleling each other. miziiiii
@sangatsumi@romhtillver continues to live in her memories… BUT YEAH SORRY THAT’S KINDA UNRELATED SORRY i just think this scene and role of her hair is so interesting and can be approached from so many angles its fascinating, I hope we will see more about short haired mizi in zomst too and I+
