After a busy two days, a team of 44 Police Officers, @PSOSYouthVol, @law_torch, Special Constables and @ACCPartnership volunteered to assist and help with Scotland LD Sport Summer Games. A massive effort by all athletes, staff and helpers made this event a huge success. ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Our athletes wanted to show their appreciation to the @PSOSYouthVol for their tremendous help this weekend by giving them all a thank you high 5 ๐
Thank you to Scotland LD Sport for sharing this with us
And of course, we save the best to last...
The biggest thank you of all has to go to the heroes of the weekend, the reason we all love to do this..
Thank you to THE ATHLETES!
Congratulations to you all in earning your medals. The LETR team can't wait to see you all again soon!
A huge thank you to @PSOSYouthVol who were an essential part to the running of the games. PSYV members from Alloa & Stirling assisted in a variety of sports, and even managed to squeeze a game of football in against our athletes! We were immensely proud to work alongside them๐ฎโโ๏ธ๐ฎโโ๏ธ
It was an honour to be invited to the Scotland Learning Disability Sport Summer Games this weekend. Torch runners from all over Scotland were joined by @ACCPartnership to award medals to our terrific athletes.
1/2 Torch Runner Ross Christie, was fortunate enough to attend Berlin last week as part of almost 100 police officers from all over the world, running as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Final Leg.

"I am honoured to have been chosen as a Guardian of the Flame and immensely proud of all the SO athletes who helped us or are competing in the games. These athletes are courageoues, strong and inspirational individuals I am proud to call friends"
