Bitcoin just experienced a very typical bear-market rally, designed to draw in bullish sentiment before another sharp pullback. Momentum on the upside is fading, and the next leg lower appears imminent. The broader bear market structure remains firmly intact.
My strategy:
My first meaningful accumulation zone is around 65k between September - October of 2026.
I will buy only during moments of panic.
“Buy when there is blood in the streets.”
Bear market rallies and short squeezes will occur, but they will not change my plan and are likely to be brief.
Would you share your strategy?

Nothing has changed in my personal opinion on BTC. In my view, Bitcoin is currently in a bear market rally. These rallies occur when investors believe the bottom is in and rush to buy. They fade once it becomes clear there is not enough sustained demand to push the asset to a new all time high. In my opinion, this bear market rally could extend as high as $110K. I am staying on the sidelines, with a plan to buy closer to the actual eventual bottom much later this year.

Bitcoin acts as an early indicator. In my view, the slowdown has already begun. We are at the start of a slow, grinding decline that typically precedes broader liquidity stress. If this pattern holds, Bitcoin should bottom sometime between September and November 2026, near the point when the economic crisis becomes undeniable and policy reverses. Having dry powder available during that period will be critical to taking full advantage of the exceptional opportunities that are likely to emerge.
Happy Holidays!

Be cautious chasing this current Bitcoin upswing. In my view, we remain firmly within a broader bear market, and what we are seeing now is merely a bear market rally driven largely by retail enthusiasm that could persist for another week. I would not be surprised to see prices push toward the 100k level, which will likely draw in a wave of buyers convinced the “correction” has ended. In reality, that move may only mark a bull trap and the beginning of a deeper correction, with the prevailing bear market resuming once the rally exhausts itself.

So far my thesis and prediction have been accurate. I’m expecting a bottom sometime in September - October of 2026. Ideally, I’d like to buy back in between 60k - 50k. Let’s hope the market gives us that opportunity. In the meantime I plan on spending time with my family and focusing on my health and fitness.
Best of luck!
This all seems pretty straightforward to me. The four-year cycles keep repeating like the tides coming in and out—steady, predictable, and unstoppable. Thank goodness, because it means we’ve got a playbook for making money written by math and time itself. Take your profits like a surfer catching the perfect wave, then kick back and chill. Wait 12 months, buy back in at cheaper prices, and ride the next wave all over again.

Note to self: probably a good time to start taking profits on bitcoin. Stager sales starting tomorrow. Try and sell 50% of total holding above 119k. At the same time start scaling into a small short position.

The current market environment is presenting unusually conflicting signals. Last week’s employment report showed a notable uptick in unemployment, a classic recessionary indicator. Yet today’s inflation print points in the opposite direction, with prices reaccelerating. Historically, it’s rare to see labor market weakness paired with rising inflation, which makes the macro picture difficult to interpret.
At the same time, fiscal policy remains highly expansionary, with government spending at record levels, while the Federal Reserve is signaling an imminent pivot toward rate cuts. The combination of loose fiscal and easing monetary policy suggests continued liquidity in the system, but it also raises the risk of entrenching inflationary pressures. Technically, the data and timing indicate we’re nearing an inflection point. My current stance is to remain invested, though I am prepared to trim a portion, perhaps 25% to 50%, should we push through to new highs.
The challenge, however, is that reducing risk in this market forces capital into cash or short-duration bills. If inflation proves sticky, those instruments are delivering negative real returns year-over-year, which is not an attractive position. That’s the core dilemma: rotation out of risk assets offers limited protection, while remaining fully exposed carries heightened volatility risk. Up until recently, the market’s trajectory was relatively clear, but over the last two weeks visibility has deteriorated. The outlook has become murky, and the path forward increasingly opaque.
At the moment I’m doing nothing. Just waiting, watching and trying to get a better read on the markets.
