Regardless of any genuine and heartfelt empathy for the innocent people in Gaza:
Anyone marching tomorrow with a Palestinian flag to celebrate the anniversary of 7 October 2023 is, to put it simply, the scum of the earth.
General Dwight D. Eisenhower had the foresight to realize that Holocaust denial would occur.
Eisenhower said, “Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses - because somewhere down the road of history, some bastard will get up and say that this never happened.”
Today I was among the journalists who have attended a private screening of the raw footage of October 7th and I want to express to you what I saw since it’s not been made public. It’s been a very heavy day. A decision was made that Jews are less than human, and treated that way in words and deeds..I now know that’s exactly the message Hamas sent on purpose — at scale. I wasn’t aware of that before. I saw bodies were burned but I did not understand or appreciate how intentional the effort was - they did it methodically, you hear it in the voices, the commands the ease, the excitement of finding and mutilating victims.
I hated having to watch the video. You can’t unsee the evil shown in it. No one should want to see it, but the horrors of that day should never be forgotten. Never rationalized away. The phrase in my head the whole time “Never Again” from the past, but I was watching it again.
Two months later.
One of the many ‘humanitarian’ organizations discredited by their clear choice of a raping slaughtering jihadist terror sect over innocent female and child civilians
The image that has been appearing on posters at “anti-Israel” demonstrations around the world - of someone binning a Star of David - looked familiar to me.
And I was right - this is from a 2013 @CST_UK document.
It only took a decade for the far-left to copy the far-right.
The call for a ceasefire in Gaza is disingenuous since it effectively gives Hamas the opportunity to prepare for Israeli action. Which frankly is what some (not all) people want. The call for humanitarian pauses and aid corridors doesn’t do this in the same way.
The world didn't need to see images of those slaughtered by ISIS in the 2015 Paris terror attacks to believe the French government.
The world didn't need to see images of those murdered by ISIS in the 2017 Barcelona attack to believe the Spanish government.
But after 1,400 Israelis were raped, beheaded, burned, tortured, kidnapped, and murdered, Israel's government is still forced to hold a screening of raw footage of Hamas' crimes against humanity to the international press.
And in case you were wondering, even this will not be enough.
I'm having to learn a whole new Twitter triage so I can distinguish between those people who are actually evil and those who are just monumentally stupid. It's often not obvious.
The Gaza hospital: Last night’s rush to judgment, including by @BBC & @nytimesworld & regional powers, was premature, cynical and irresponsible. Once again duped by Hamas & giving away a deeper bias
No OSINT expert — but I’d be interested to hear from the custodians of truth who spent the last week questioning the precise way in which Jewish babies were killed.
Did they apply same rigour before fanning flames of perception that’s now destabilised the entire region?
I have one rule. It’s a simple rule but one that has always served me well:
Don’t be quick to believe terrorist organisations that rape women, behead babies and set fire to the elderly
As one of the few politicians around the world to enjoy a longtime 'friendship' with Hamas, perhaps now is time for @jeremycorbyn to pick up the phone to his friends, get them to release the hostages & finally earn his Nobel peace prize that some of his followers insist he has.
