Sorry to be so quiet, just trying to survive currently. Hubby transferred back to the rehab place today, infection is finally better! Please keep praying and sending positive vibes though? Long way to go for rehab after stroke. 💜💜💜

I will get to the amazing comments, promise, just crazy now. Update from his treating Dr, was worried about the infection spreading to his bloodstream, and repeat bloodwork already looks slightly better and this has nothing to do with the stroke, so 2 positives. Pls keep praying?

Please pray - hubby was admitted back to the hospital today and there are things overheard from the nurses that are really freaking us out!!! 😔😓

Sorry for the slight delay, am absolutely exhausted after this week already, much less after today’s roller coaster. Thankfully, false alarm, CT scan showed nothing. Still looking for the cause of the clot that caused the stroke but very thankful currently. Please keep praying?

They did a TEE of hubby today and the radiologist might have found a tear in his aorta. They are doing a CT scan of his heart right now to confirm and decide on possible emergency surgery. This is really serious and dangerous, please please please pray for him and us…

Thank y’all so much for your kind words, positivity, and prayers! Appreciate it so much and will respond to people as soon as possible. In the meantime, Sharma gained 4.5 lbs his first week here, typical of a Dane puppy for awhile. Hopefully hubby keeps improving. Love y’all.

Really sorry to not update more, been trying to juggle everything and now we have a winter storm piling snow on us, ugh. Hubby is still in hospital but improving very slowly. He has a long way to go and will likely go to a rehab facility before coming home when finally released.

Thanks y’all, sorry to not respond more but just struggling and trying to balance taking care of kiddos and worrying about hubby. No change yet, no improvement, so heartbreaking and my youngest keeps asking if I’m going to get sick like Daddy…🥲😭

Thank y’all for the well wishes, truly appreciate it. Just a waiting game currently - surgery is too risky with where the clots are located but it’s a waiting game other than that, and he isn’t doing well currently. So I’m not doing well either. Pls keep praying & positive vibes.

Taking over from Sharma briefly here - hubby had a stroke in the middle of the night and they’re currently debating surgery though that’s very risky given the location of the clot (in his aorta) - any positivity and prayers are greatly appreciated! Thought we were on the upswing!
