Andy & Helen from the Slade Church joined us this morning to share the inspiring story of Jesus’ birth. We loved engaging with the story and reflecting on the true meaning of Christmas. A huge thank you to Andy & Helen, it’s always a joy to have our community join us @IPAT_Edu

Thank you to Year 1 families who attended the Art, Stay and Learn session this morning! It was lovely hearing children articulate their learning process to their adults!

@RockliffeManor Great to share the joy of the first Christmas with these amazing students. “Joy to the world.”

A big thank you to Andy from the Slade Church who came to visit us today in assembly. It was great to see the children reflect on how they can spread joy this Christmas time outside of present giving!

Year 4 had an amazing visit to Slade Church today! They explored the significance of churches for Christians and went on a tour of the building, ending with a glimpse of the area where people get baptised. Huge thanks to Slade Church for welcoming us! 🏛️🙏 @IPAT_Edu

What a busy day we’ve had in Year 2! We loved having a visitor to talk to us about our local church and explain what it means to be a Christian. The children asked some very thoughtful questions such as, “Do you have to be a Christian to attend a church?”

[Andy Laws @lawsthink]

@RockliffeManor What a joy to run a session with such a curious and fun class. Well done 😃 #curious #church #christianity

Good exploring of the Easter story year 1! #easter

[Rockliffe Manor @RockliffeManor]

Year 1 enjoyed listening to the Easter story, we loved pretending to be the characters acting out their emotions!

Dear Lord please...
Calm the fears of every child anxious about going back to school.
Grant strength and endurance to every teacher facing new covid measures.
Help every child facing abuse or neglect at home get the help they need at school today.
Amen
