I tweeted few days back that “Most women should not be allowed to speak on public issues because they cannot separate logic from emotions.”
This beautiful lady here is proving my point by exposing how her fellow women think.
You only see women being this logical once in a blue moon.
Usually, what they do is generalize outliers and double down once their emotions are involved.
Mind you, no one bullied your preference. We’re saying your preference is dumb. Your reasoning is dumb. And I now understand why there’s always so much alcohol in your dumps. I’d drink a lot too if I had to sit through a date with you.
It’s not the mouth that needs food, it’s the brain that needs mental nourishment.
A lady had been having serial miscarriages since she got married. She had lost four pregnancies, and each time she became pregnant, she would start antenatal care early, take her medications and follow her doctor's instructions, yet she still couldn't carry the pregnancy to term.
After the fourth miscarriage, she was referred to another doctor who decided to run more tests on her and her husband, including their blood group and rhesus factor.
The woman was O negative while her husband was O positive.
The doctor explained that being Rh negative does not mean a woman cannot have children or that she will automatically have miscarriages. The concern is that if an Rh negative mother carries an Rh positive baby, fetal blood can sometimes enter her bloodstream during pregnancy or delivery. Her body can then become sensitized and produce antibodies against Rh positive blood.
Those antibodies can cause complications in a later Rh positive pregnancy.
The doctor also explained that anti D immunoglobulin can help prevent Rh sensitization when it is given at the appropriate time during pregnancy or after certain pregnancy events, such as miscarriage, bleeding or delivery, depending on the circumstances.
The woman had never been told any of this during her previous pregnancies.
She became pregnant again and this time received proper monitoring and the necessary treatment. She eventually had a healthy baby.
What shocked me about this story is that many women know their blood group but have never been told their rhesus factor or what it means for pregnancy.
And this is where I think we need to talk more about it.
Are you Rh positive or Rh negative?
If you are Rh negative, did your doctor ever explain anti D injection to you during pregnancy?
And for women who have experienced rhesus incompatibility, what was your experience?
Please share your experience. Someone reading the comments may learn something that could help them.
Let me tell you all a little story.
Some of you may be too young to know it but I will share the story.
There was a man called Clifford Orji.
This is a true life story as bizarre as it is.
In February 1999 under a bridge in Oshodi-Isolo, Lagos, a man called Clifford Orji was found with human body parts, human skull, human meat some of which he had cooked, some of which were also rotten already.
Because he was found in possession of these decomposing human remains, including fresh and cooked human flesh, and skull bones he was arrested by the police and kept in jail.
He was only discovered by the police after one victim he kidnapped escaped from his terror murder dungeon.
Clifford Orji was sent to prison while he was awaiting trial for being a kidnapper, a cannibal and a serial murderer.
From the time of his arrest, Clifford Orji exhibited profound signs of severe psychosis and mental derangement during his time in detention. He famously claimed to the press that eating human meat was his “culture" and regularly displayed bizarre chaotic behavior and speech which confirmed he cleared had severe psychosis and schizophrenia which is a serious mental disorder. Yet at no point did any sane person in the society suggest that his mental illness is an acceptable excuse for his barbaric murder and cannibalism. Nobody ever argued that his mental disorder is a reason for him to be cuddled and for him to be spared full punishment for his crimes.
Infact Clifford was so severely mentally ill that he was never capable of making coherent statements as he was terribly psychotic and extremely delusional and detached from reality.
When Orji was first taken to the Makinde Police Station in Lagos, the Divisional Police Officer noted that Orji was completely unable to formulate structured or logical responses to any questions he was given. He appeared detached from reality and unaware of the gravity of the human remains found in his makeshift roadside enclave. The police noted his absolute disorientation, stating that he was completely incoherent while responding to basic questions, which convinced the investigators he was genuinely mentally disturbed.
After he was arrested,
He showed zero remorse, zero guilt, and had zero human empathy. When asked by reporters if he would continue eating human beings if he were ever released, he responded calmly: "Yes, I will; because to me there is no difference between human and goat meat." This cold cruel cognitive inability to differentiate human beings from animals strongly pointed toward severe psychological depravity and psychosis.
In addition, when the police arrested Clifford Orji they stated that they found him naked, unkept and living in extreme squalor in his hideout filled with human body parts, human skulls, cooked human flesh and decaying human remains. They had to clothe him and take him to the station before locking him up.
Clifford Orji in the end was never formally convicted because he was so mentally deranged that he was too incoherent for a legal trial. Ultimately his mental health while in prison custody even further worsened that he spent over 12 years in jail and ultimately died in 2012.
But here is the point in this story:
Despite multiple clear incontrovertible evidence of severe mental illness and intense psychological disorder, no sane person ever made excuses for Clifford Orji to not face the consequences of his crimes. And he died in jail because he was too mentally ill to go to court.
Yet today, people with a supposedly fully functional brain have zero empathy for three innocent children strangulated to death but are agitating for the murderer to walk free on mental health grounds.
It is okay and sensible to ask that she be sent to a psychiatric facility for compulsory treatment as she is a risk to society, but you must be absolutely insane to demand that someone who is so mentally disturbed they used bare hands to murder 3 little innocent kids should walk away free.
