VIDEO | CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka says, "I just came to know that CBI has filed a charge sheet in the NEET 2026 case which involves a lot of NTA officers... We demand that the NTA be dissolved and it be converted into a national technical testing commission which has permanent staff, which has proper auditing of each of the exam it conducts. We also demand that not just 2026 but all the paper leaks that have happened in this country in last few years be investigated thoroughly and all the accused be brought to justice which includes NEET 2024 and NEET 2025. It is imperative that the government takes steps to solve these structural issues that are plaguing the systems of this country not just NTA but the entire exam system which includes the exam infrastructure which includes the vendors have to be audited properly and it has to be made sure that the country doesn't see any more paper leaks."

This September, the Cockroach Janta Party begins its ‘Kya Bolti Public’ listening tour. We are taking this movement to the grassroots to listen. We want to hear the aspirations, anxieties, and ideas of India’s young generation and the together work towards building a brighter future.

Education reform and unemployment remain at the very top of our priorities. We will also relentlessly push for institutional accountability because a democracy cannot function when institutions stop being accountable for their (in)actions. A big question mark surrounds the integrity of the Election Commission, the judiciary, and the media. The three’s accountability MUST be restored.

We also seek to bring together the countless movements, organisations, and citizens already fighting for justice on different fronts. No single organisation can transform a nation alone. Our greatest strength lies in unity.

Many of you have asked us to become a political party. We are deeply grateful for that faith. But at this moment, our energy is better spent where change truly begins: among the people! Existing parties are being broken up using money, ED, CBI, etc. Those in government are also now deciding who can vote and who can’t. They are choosing which elected MP will be in which party. So our immediate mission is grassroots mobilisation, democratic reforms, and mass public awakening.

For now, we remain a people’s pressure group. And we are only getting started.
