Had to send my QNAP server back to manufacturer so we are in limbo. Once I get my files back, going to try and get a small mint going, probably late summer
I guess what I'm really asking is, is there a variable or function in Solana or Meteplex that keeps track of previous owners (it obv has to- its a blockchain). Is there a way to point to that variable (or array) in the metadata or am I not making any sense? Wish I was smarter :)
Imagine if @metaplex had an option where you can assign royalties based on how early you got in to an #NFT project. For example say Royalties are 7% at mint- 5% stay with artist, and the other 2% goes to 1st holder. If they sell then 2nd holder gets 1% or something like this
Would need to be programmed into metadata but I'm not sure how to:

@GenesysGo Just some thoughts from today. The deeper questions is how does one grow an NFT art community in an authentic way? Yeah we can do paid promotions and get lots of fake followers but that does not create any real value for the Solana community
Everyone's always saying things like shill me your next 100x project. Got met thinking, the lower we make mint, the easier it is to 100x. For ex 0.01 to 1 Sol seems way more realistic than 10 Sol to 1k Sol. Only problem is those Sol bots w/ low mint $. Might need a @GenesysGo RPC
@GenesysGo I'd much rather see a community thrive over the long term than make quick cash on a mint. Low mint price may be a way of doing that. Also almost no one follows me so I'm tempted to let ppl mint who start following the project
Does anyone ever feel like itโs easier to get engagement from bots than from real ppl on Twitter? Especially noticed this if I use a hashtag like #SolanaNFT or #nft
1/ Calling all developers! Phantom now supports both universal links and deeplinks!
This unlocks a ton of great functionality for mobile apps including:
- Signing in with Phantom
- Verifying NFTs in social apps
- Placing orders in trading apps

Also, my QNAP NAS has integrated Thunderbolt 3 but it doesn't work with the new MacBook Pro. QNAP customer support told me I needed to back up my entire server, agree to a message that all my data could be destroyed, and then downgrade firmware to maybe make T3 work. No thanks
My 80TB QNAP server was hacked recently (deadlock vulnerability) so I've switched from making art to data recovery mode, that's partially why I been a little more quite over the past couple weeks. Such a headache but just a bump on the road to bringing #layerlapse to #solana
All I can say is stay as far away from QNAP as possible. I paid almost $5k for that server and its been a disaster, Would be great if consumers could hold these companies more accountable for this stuff. Too often we are left holding the bag even though this is 100% qnap's fault
Hey builders, can't wait to trade your NFTs? ๐
Magic Eden will be supporting the @metaplex Certified Collection (MCC) Standard on our marketplace starting today.
Hereโs a little thread to explain whatโs going on ๐งต๐
