If John MacArthur would've had an issue with this, I highly doubt Washer would be preaching at the Shepherd's conference. Not to mention, MacArthur invited Washer numerous times over the years to preach, seemingly have NO ISSUES with his preaching.
The amount of Reformed men (lately) who get all effeminate and their panties in a wad over Washer's preaching is fascinating to behold. Be thankful for the type of preacher Washer is, and the impact he's had. Stop nitpicking and accusing him of "legalism" because his preaching brings "reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching." (2 Timothy 4)

P.S. MacArthur died July 14, 2025. Last years Shepherd conference was in early March 2025. He was not on his "death bed". By all indications, MacArthur was fully aware and cognizant during that conversation.
ALSO, Washer is not out of bounds doing what he did. Think of all the "Reformed pastors" who have lived a double life and have ship wrecked their ministry the past decade. It's good to "ask people about their souls and how their walk with Christ is going" no matter who it is.
Washer was loving MacArthur.
My biggest takeaway from the new Pretti video, is that this proves there are Left-wing groups tracking ICE, broadcasting ICE’s location, and encouraging people to obstruct.
Pretti was not coincidentally running into ICE on multiple occasions. It was premeditated obstruction. It’s coordinated. They are tracking ICE and sending people to obstruct the enforcement of the law.
In other words, this is a conspiracy to obstruct the enforcement of federal law, which is one of the legal definitions of an insurrection, and opens the door for the invocation of the Insurrection Act.
This Goff TD thing really is insane. Closest basically confirmed conspiracy. Coach and team 100% believe and have said publicly New York called it in. Which literally is not allowed in that case. Pool report says New York did not buzz in.
Locker room doesn’t buy it.
Wild.

America needs more Pastors like this 🔥🔥🔥
Here’s an idea: be publicly thankful for your conservative Baptist upbringing. Consider that your parents and grandparents may have understood and obeyed the Scriptures better than you realize.
Instead of watching the halftime show of the Super Bowl, @TPUSA should have all the same musicians that were at the Charlie Kirk memorial service do a livestream.
Personally, I’d rather hear Christians praising God than watch a demonic drag show.
This post by Voddie’s daughter, Jasmine, is both heartbreaking and precious!
(Here come the tears again!)
It’s one of the most important testimonies about Voddie or any father.
More important than being a great preacher, Voddie was a great “daddy.”
Pray for this sweet family!
Voddie Baucham was indirectly responsible for me becoming the pastor of the Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. When Shiloh was without a pastor, Mac Brunson gave church leaders free passes to his JAX Pastors Conference at First Baptist Church. The men heard Voddie Baucham there, and some were convinced he should be their next pastor. He even filled the pulpit at Shiloh one Sunday.
After it was clear that would not be their pastor, Baucham was asked to recommend men to consider. The Shiloh leaders preached through most of the list he provided. One name on that list refused their invitation to preach, and told them the guy they were looking for was in Los Angeles. After hearing several sermons on my church website, they invited me to preach. The congregation selected me to be their next pastor three months later.
When I met Voddie, I asked him to confirm or deny an urban legend I had heard. He confirmed that he had written the Shiloh Church leaders a letter entitled “10 Reasons Why You Don’t Want Voddie Baucham to Be Your Pastor.” In that letter, he listed the things he would change in the congregation that did not line up with his biblical convictions.
That story reflects how bold, courageous, and determined Voddie Baucham was about the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. Yet, what comes to mind as I think of Voddie is sitting on the second row at a conference listening to him preach. As he proclaimed the gospel, his eyes filled with tears that began to run down his cheeks. I had not seem a man weep as he preached since I was a child, listening to my father. That’s what a preacher should be - a bold voice with a tender heart.
As Voddie Baucham has moved upstairs to his final reward in glory, he leaves behind a Christ-honoring life and legacy. Faithful husband. Loving father. Church planter. Expository preacher. Theological educator. Prolific author. Christian apologist. Gospel champion. Thank God for Voddie Baucham Jr.
