Sultan Jalaluddin Muhammad Shah was the son of Raja Ganesha of Bengal. Born as Jadu, he converted to Islam and ruled the Bengal Sultanate from 1415 to 1433, leaving a lasting mark on Bengal’s medieval history.🪓
Found this name on the platform of the Panch Matha temple in Jabalpur. Reads Jim V Lenehan 1864. I tried searching this name on the internet, couldn't find anything. Seems like a British officer or a soldier.
Ngl, Ghorpade Marathas were the worst bastards of Sisodiya Rajputs.
Unlike Sisodiyas (who measured swords with every Sultanate), Ghorpades obediently served Deccani Sultans for generations, even fighting against Vijayanagara Empire many times for their Muslim overlords. Even after the fall of Bahmanis, they simply switched masters to Adilshahis of Bijapur. Their loyalty towards the Adilshahis was such that they not only died fighting against Hindu Nayakas far away in Kannada lands, but even wholeheartedly opposed Bhonsles — their own blood-brothers! After the conquest of Bijapur by Aurangzeb, Ghorpades transferred their allegiance to the Mughals.
The only historically-relevant chief this clan ever produced was Senapati Santaji Ghorpade — who belonged to the Bhalavani branch of Ghorpades, not the main royal family of Mudhol. Santaji was able to achieve considerable success against the Mughals but, contrary to his portrayal as an undefeated warrior by Maratha panegyrists, he was actually defeated several times, and was ultimately killed by the Mughals. His head was paraded through the Mughal territory, while his son & brother begged Mughaliya mansab for themselves by sending petitions to Aurangzeb.
Emperor Jahangir's Sadr-i Jahan Sayyid Abdul Ghafur's favourite wife was a Brahmin Muslim lady (Pārbati). Her son & grandson:
Sayyid Nizam Murtaza Khan

- faujdar of Gopamau & Lucknow
Sayyid Abdul Muqtadi
- 1000 foot & 600 horse
- faujdar of Khairabad
The suffix -ich in Dakhni, which is often thought to be something "low class", had appeared in Classical Dakhni of the 17th century.
An example of it is in the oft-quoted lines in the text below, from a Bijapuri poet Hashmi (who had moved to Arcot) in 1688.
Yeah, he’s a Rajput. That’s why he has enough shame to realise his mistake and publicly apologise for it. Meanwhile, let me show everyone how much respect filthy animals like you have for women.
Thread on Marathas & their respect for women. I’ll keep adding to it :

Randhir Singh of Kapurthala state was awarded several confiscated taluqdaris in Oudh for his valuable services during the Mutiny. He raised and maintained a large force at his own expense and marched to Lucknow, where he took part in several military operations. The revenue from
That AI-generated slop is nothing more than a pathetic mental gymnastics.
1) Urdu formalised as a language before the British Raj when India and Pakistan were not united as a singular polity.
2) Pakistan emerged as a political entity in 1947, but the landmass itself had existed long before that, hadn't it?
3) Yes, 'shared heritage' requires invention? That damn word "heritage" requires a pre-existing foundation to be inherited. That's why asking him to name even one Pakistan-based polity that contributed to the development of Urdu. How is this demand absurd?
The sources I have shared are as follows :
• 𝙍𝙖𝙙𝙝𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙙𝙝𝙖𝙫 𝙑𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙨 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪 written by Jayaram Pindye — the official court poet of Shahji Bhonsle (Shivaji’s father).
• 𝙎𝙖𝙗𝙝𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙙 𝘽𝙖𝙠𝙝𝙖𝙧 written by Krishnaji Anant — the official court chronicler of Rajaram Bhonsle (Shivaji’s son).
They simply state that Bhonsles are descendants of a Sisodiya Rajput family which migrated from North to Deccan. As a matter of fact, Sabhasad explicitly mentions that this was verified when learned priests like Gagabhatt examined the family records of Bhonsles (not any ‘Registani khyat’).
@MamalkatMadar’s lame assumption of this being “𝙖 𝙠𝙝𝙮𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙗𝙮 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙞 𝙥𝙤𝙚𝙩𝙨” doesn’t make sense from a logical point of view either. Was Shivaji (and his ancestors) so desperate to prove themselves Kshatriya that they just bought some oral tradition sold to them by random poets?
Shivaji called himself “a hereditary slave of the Mughals.”
A thread on the hereditary servitude of the Bhonsles to their Musalman masters. 🧵
Gen 1: Shahji Bhonsle: In a letter to Adil Shah, Shahji stated that he was a loyal servant of the state and had no part in Shivaji’s-
Identity-crisis amongst Marathas has peaked to such heights that they are now rejecting their own contemporary family-records as “𝙤𝙤𝙜𝙖-𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙜𝙖 𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙 𝙠𝙝𝙮𝙖𝙩”.
The imposition of Urdu in Pakistan, as noted by Sir John Lawrence in 1851, later Lieutenant Governor of Punjab.
He stated that Urdu was an alien tongue in the region, but since most EIC officials were familiar with it, they chose to promote it as the lingua franca.
For those who don’t know, @MamalkatMadar is a Ghorpade Maratha. His ancestors forged documents just to prove themselves bastards of the Maharanas of Mewar, which is why he abuses them day & night. As the saying goes :
“ बाप को सबसे ज़्यादा गालियाँ उसकी नाजायज़ औलाद ही देती है। ”
It’s 2026 and Marathas still don’t realise that these “cherry-picked snippets of genealogy kanging” were forged by their own ancestors, not any Rajput. Though I can’t really blame them. Imagine abusing Rajputs 24/7, only to find out that you are a waste product of their semen ….
"Ilm al-Ghayb" of our Master (ﷺ) from Mulla Ali al-Qari's book al-Zubda fi sharh al-Burda:
He mentions:
The fact that ‘the knowledge of the Tablet and the Pen is but part of his sciences’ consists in that his sciences are multifarious, including UNIVERSALS and PARTICULARS
