Social media is infested with fitnah.

At the same time it is beautified through the ease of the sharing of beneficial knowledge.

Tools to remove such fitnah are introduced in certain platforms.

On X I humbly advise the brothers, when they see a non-beneficial post, to tap on the three dots at the top right of that post, and select “Not interested in this post” out of the drop down menu.

And by Allah, I have seen such a method cleanse my feed from non beneficial posts and more importantly fitnah.

Another method is to use the tab called “Following” instead of the “For you” tab.
This ensures you only see posts from the ones you follow, and inshallah you are all following beneficial people.

May Allah allow us to benefit and increase us in knowledge and humbleness, preserve our Sheioukh and keep them steadfast.
