Ask a woman why she hates men - she'll tell you a horrifying story involving violence, abuse, and harassment.
Ask a man why he hates women - he'll complain about feminists, girls using him for free meals, and a friend who friendzoned him once and didn't put out
As a woman I am extremely aware the only reason I have rights is because women before me got mouthy, organized, and made herself inconvenient. Thats why I see women who uphold the patriarchy as traitors
Notice how "girls mature faster" is never stated as a reason to why girls should be given more positions of power and authority? It only works to hold girls to greater accountability than boys and to justify men's attraction to them.
Girls will survive abuse, heartbreak, grief, and unspeakable tragedies and still navigate through the world with kindness and compassion, but one minor inconvenience in a man's childhood and he spends the rest of his life terrorizing and poisoning everyone around him
Men will swear, insult people, make r*pe jokes, scream at women, and fill podcasts with profanity all day long.... but suddenly become defenders of “class” and “godliness” the moment a woman says “fvck.”
Women: I want to go for a run.
Society: You can’t go alone. You’ll get raped.
Women: I want to walk to my car in the parking garage.
Society: Alone? You better get someone to escort you, or you’ll get raped.
Women: I want to live alone.
Society: You need a gun, an alarm system, a dog and probably a gun for the dog too.
Women: What about going to the park?
Society: Dangerous.
Women: Okay, I’ll just go out for a drink then.
Society: Don’t take your eyes off your drink. Watch out for predators spiking your drinks. Stay alert at all times.
Women: I was raped.
Society: Are you sure? That just seems impossible.
Actually, Out of ten men, one makes a sexual joke at a woman, two laugh, three fake a chuckle to fit in, and four stay silent. None of them speak up. Later, nine of them still believe they're the "good guys." But from the woman's perspective, the laughter, the silence, the looking away, it all creates the same environment. So when women say"most men are the same," this is what they mean: not that every man harasses women, but that most men help protect the system that does.
