🗻 They’re headed to the Rocky Mountain State! Cole Ekert and Luke Sample punched their tickets to the 123rd U.S. Amateur Championship following the 36-hole qualifier at Essex County Country Club on Monday.
Ekert, a rising junior at the University of Richmond earned medalist honors after firing rounds of 68-69 (-5) to head to his first U.S. Amateur. For Sample, the rising junior at Duke University manufactured a 5-under par 66 in his second round en route to capturing the second qualifying spot.
