@sainsburys C) Does it reduce theft?! Are we really going with that?! Like “ooh, I’m going to steal something. Oh no, my plan is foiled because I have to scan my receipt”
Seriously?
That’s the line we’re going with? 🤨
So @sainsburys smart shop (which has long been my preference because I hate queues and I hate humans) now makes you scan your receipt to exit.
On asking the attendant how this is sustainable, their answer “we don’t care, it’s just to reduce theft”
@sainsburys B) the customer service in this interaction was just bad. Training is clearly lacking. They’ll probably give some excuse about high staff turnover and resourcing problems, but that doesn’t excuse poor engagement. Team engagement is *everything*, and this is a bad look for them.
In celebration of the #QueensJubilee, we are giving you the chance to win a Fortnum & Mason hamper worth up to £100!!👑

We echo this sentiment . The whole industry has been turned upside down with additional pressures as a result of 18 months of uncertainty. If something isn’t quite right notify a member of the team we’re here to give you the best experience we can. #bekindtohospitality
We're hospitality, we love to make your day special, but too many seem to forget we're human too. If we can't get you a coffee *right now* it's not because we don't want to. If you have to queue to check in, it's not becuase we're not trying.
Please be nice. Please be kind.
Just an update on "how it's going in hospitality":
- Test and trace have taken out most of one department
- Test and trace have taken out many other venues in the city, putting pressure on us
To the people who keep leaving reviews saying "not enough staff": what do even you want
@HSBC_UK Why can’t I use a 10 character password? Or 12? Or 20? Surely more characters are better? Or is it too much work for you to program your database to store long passwords? Laziness is the enemy of security…
Hey @HSBC_UK. Why does a bank, an organisation who I trust my money to, have such weak password security. Is the master password to your banking backend just "Hsbc2021!"?
