A genuinely excellent use of our public resources. The highways in and around the city are a free for all. I honestly think the fine should be higher to discourage people from thinking shaving a few minutes off their commute is worth the dangerous conditions they're creating.

In just a few hours, we pulled over and ticketed more than 100 vehicles, 49 of which were captured on video riding the shoulder by our new police helicopter. Using the shoulder to pass slower traffic is dangerous and can lead to catastrophic accidents. Violations carry up to a $1000 fine.
