@WeAre_LCB were pleased to welcome @RyanSeeleyBG from @britishgypsum in to our college today to give our plastering students a presentation about plaster/plasterboard manufacture & plaster products the students will use in their plastering career. A highly informative morning.

@unitedlivinggrp fantastic site visit yesterday for the 2nd year plastering group. Community projects and close partnerships between colleges and industry give the learners valuable insights into how construction sites are set up, maintained and completed. @WeAre_LCB

Leeds College of Building joins the country in mourning the death of Her Majesty the Queen. Her service, duty and loyalty to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth was unique, earning respect across the world. We extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to the Royal Family.

This is Newton he is the Level 1 plastering Student of the Year. He represented LCB in Skillbuild & has secured a plastering apprenticeship that he will start in September. Well done Newton, a topping effort this year.

@britishgypsum skimming course is up and running here at @WeAre_LCB. Thanks to @RyanSeeleyBG from BG who came over to give a quick overview of the course and to supply tool sets. A fresh set of accomplished skimmers are in the making….

Congratulations to Jamie for beating some stiff competition and winning the @britishgypsum student of the year award for level 2 plastering. Jamie has been a pleasure to teach. He has 100% attendance which has helped him push his plastering skills upto the next level @WeAre_LCB

Had a great day spraying Weber monocouche. The new machine is fantastic and will look forward to getting it out again. Massive Thankyou to @WeberTraining for the materials to allow us to train the next batch of renderers. A good day has been had by all :) @WeAre_LCB
