Old McHenry Road from just east of Midlothian Road to US 12 opened this past weekend. The road was closed last week to replace a culvert. Please drive carefully through the area as lane closures may needed to complete landscaping.

We are seeing heavy snow throughout the county now with a forecast that’s calling for a possible heavier snow band to set up and move through the county between 5 - 6 p.m., lasting until 9 p.m. tonight.

We went right to work after closing part of Old McHenry Road yesterday. The contractor began with setting up the cofferdams and removing the pavement. The road is scheduled to be reopened no later than Saturday, November 4.

Stearns School Road from Hutchins to Hunt Club Road is now open! The road had been closed since August 1 to construct a new bridge.

Antioch, IL - North Ave will close for railroad crossing improvements starting on Monday, Oct. 23. The railroad crossing is scheduled to reopen to through traffic during the late afternoon on Wednesday, Nov. 22, weather permitting.
