We are accustomed to thinking of rest as a time when we are "not getting anything done". We need to shift to seeing rest as one of the most important things we can do for ourselves, allowing our bodies and minds to recharge.

Systemic racism, whether from our profession, our tradition, our curriculums, our funding, even from our technical know-how, or expertise, is no substitute for needed health services for communities of color. There is a sense of urgency to amend the issues of our own system!
