@reach4daskyler@BarronKg15447@UkeCreature@PinkNews Because pathologizing it as a mental illness, when Gender Incongruence/Gender dysphoria only sometimes causes the impairments and/or distress typically associated with mental disorders. Being in a less hostile environment has shown to decrease this level of distress.

What you have said insinuates that schools should be able to inquire into one's gender status, which medical professionals generally have declared to not be a mental illness/disability, but rather a matter of sexual health.
