Malaysia has been urged to mandate free drinking water at all licensed eateries as part of efforts to cut sugar consumption and encourage healthier lifestyles.

The requirement should be enforced through legislation or licensing conditions, the Galen Centre for Health and Social Policy said.

RTM and Astro have agreed to restore access to RTM channels on Astro, after previously ending their nearly 30-year collaboration over a failed pricing agreement.

Under the new arrangement, RTM channels including Berita RTM, Sukan+ and its radio network will return to Astro’s platform in the near future.
