LCP is a volunteer-based program made up of residents who are community to keeping our community safe through daily patrols.

🚓 Community Patrol Update – Avenue U (Last Tuesday) 🚓
Last Tuesday, our Community Patrol team was out on Avenue U conducting our regular evening walk-through to help keep the neighborhood safe and connected.

LCP was out in full force at Sheepshead Bay, continuing our commitment to keeping our neighborhood safe, clean, and connected.

We’re grateful for the warm conversations, community support, and teamwork that make Sheepshead Bay such a special place to live and work.

LCP members responded immediately to a call from a merchant on Ave U who reported a serious disturbance at a neighboring deli.

LCP quickly arrived on scene to assess the situation. The central LCP member promptly followed up and assisted with following up with 61st Precinct

LCP conducted a neighborhood patrol along Neck Road to support local merchants and residents. It was great reconnecting with familiar business owners and meeting new community members. We’re committed to keeping our streets safe and strengthening community partnerships.

(1/15/26) Last Thursday afternoon, the LCP team conducted a community patrol along Avenue U, engaging with local residents and business owners to help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

(1/14/26) LCP conducted an evening patrol along Neck Road, continuing our commitment to keeping the neighborhood safe.
Then, LCP members attended the 61 Precinct Community Council Meeting, where we listened to updates from leadership, and engaged with community members.
