@epidemic_pain 2 different realties were simultaneously happening. One where aerith dies (what the party sees) and one where she’s saved (what cloud sees). The party grieves bc she did die in that world but there is one where she’s alive still. Cloud sees the rift in the sky bc he’s in between

@parrishesadam I think it’s happening for sure. Whatever one girl gets the other one also gets. Think abt the hugs for example. One turned out to be canon. Whether or not the kiss will be affinity based or canon idk but I do genuinely think they’ll get one 🤞🏼

RPGSite asked FF7 Revelation Director Hamaguchi whether it is still the case that the FF7R series is supposed to link to Advent Children, a previous notion from an interview with Nomura.

Hamaguchi says he does not believe they have ever publicly stated it will be like that.

His full quote: “I don’t believe we’ve publicly claimed or stated it’s going to be exactly that, so I’d like for players to play Revelation and see for themselves, what the conclusion of the journey holds, and see about that.”
