HOLY CRAP 🚨: President Trump declares the U.S. will IMMEDIATELY END all trade talks with Canada after they moved to slap a Digital Services Tax on American tech companies. “We will let Canada know the Tariff that they will be paying to do business with the United States of America within the next seven day period.”

Trump wrote on Truth Social: “We have just been informed that Canada, a very difficult Country to TRADE with, including the fact that they have charged our Farmers as much as 400% Tariffs, for years, on Dairy Products, has just announced that they are putting a Digital Services Tax on our American Technology Companies, which is a direct and blatant attack on our Country.”

🇩🇪 Germany's Chancellor Merz is going after the country's sky-high sick-leave numbers, and plenty of businesses have wanted this for a while.

No more calling in sick by phone. Under the change, workers will need a doctor's note from the very first day out.

"We know this is a tough decision. But we can no longer afford this competitive disadvantage caused by prolonged absences from work."

Germany has some of the highest reported sick-leave rates in Europe, and the pitch is that a day-one certificate closes the door on the ones phoning it in.
