It feels to denote the emphasis on academic performance and removes the notion that these are children with needs additional to education.

Learning Disability - A condition impacting on the individuals ability to learn and retain information, occuring during childhood. People with a LD have an IQ of 70 and below. Examples include Downs Syndrome, Williams syndrome and many more.

Learning Difficulty - A condition that impacts on the individuals process information, DOES NOT IMPACT INTELLIGENCE. Examples include dyslexia, dyscalculia etc.

Neurodivergence - Fabulous individuals whose brains process the world around us in amazing and unique ways. DOES NOT IMPACT INTELLIGENCE. Examples include Autism, ADHD etc.
