Why we chose the name PRIDE for Learning Disability Pride
PRIDE belongs to every one of us.
We chose the name PRIDE because that’s what this day is all about… showing PRIDE in who we are, in the people we love, and in those we support.
Learning Disability Pride is a day to stand tall, to be visible, and to say that people with a learning disability should not only be accepted, but celebrated for all
they achieve despite the barriers they face in life.
Join us and show your PRIDE and support for people with a learning disability.
Let’s celebrate together, because everyone deserves to feel proud of who they are.
