@pompeycrest Totally agree mate it's a shame we have to debate over if we're good enough for the champ or not when we know it's the higher-ups doing us over once again.
@bonjovi1378 Then you have to think about how long till they are fit again and the budget given can only be stretched so thin with 5-6 CB and 5-6 CM on the books someone quality will demand high wages
#pompey I think people need to understand that loans are needed at this point. Money has been spent in the first window, and players are being paid good wages.
You can't just pile on more permanent signings on top of them because what happens when the first team players are back
@AlanRay1169790 With the budget given by the higher-ups I think the signings that were made are pretty decent. It just means that they have to take some time to develop, because we weren't able to get any established starters with this budget.
@CamGpfc It's just annoying me you and everyone have to debate over the quality of the squad is good enough in the first place. This is unfortunately on the higher-ups doing us over once again mateπ₯²
@CamGpfc Umeh, unfortunately sidelined has not been able to show his talent.
Kosz I think added creativity but again sidelined.
Bursik great keeper cheap fee outperforming niko atm.
Chaplin had everyone excited was a good bit of business for the budget just underpreforming.
@CamGpfc To point 1 look at one of the other replys I've spoke about that already it's too long to type againπ.
To point 2 I do understand that the higher ups are doing us over the point I was trying to make was that the recruitment has been decent for the pennies that were given to us.
@ethelmurmanknee@POMPEYBENNY It's sad we can only talk about the lack of quality where we and everyone knows its unfortunately the higher-ups, not giving enough cash.
@ethelmurmanknee@POMPEYBENNY Chaplin had everyone excited and was a good bit of business in general just obviously no where near good enough this season.
But players like josh knight I think are awfull no impact and bought for a high fee ( Β£1m pound is alot for us ).
But not enough money to spend on quality.
@ethelmurmanknee@POMPEYBENNY Bursik is a great second option outperforming nico atm in my opinion for a cheap fee.
Mark kosznovszky I think made a decent impact to creativity but unfortunately (like most players) sidelined.
Luke le roux did well against arsenal and seems to hopefully finding his feet.
@POMPEYBENNY If you read everything I said this is about the recruitment team. They spent the money they had (I'm aware it was pennies) fairly well in my opinion.
@PompeyKirbs I do agree mate, but my point was about the criticism of the recruitment team. At this point, loans are good business. I personally think this is better than splashing all the remaining funds ( I know it's not much) on a single player.
But I do understand that the quality of players are not currently good enough injured or not.
This is the position john and the recruitment team have been put in by the owners. This is good business in this circumstance.
