@JoeBiden@coastalmom11 We all wondered how could anybody be worse than Trump’s first presidency. Now we know. Donald J Trump 2.0 has cratered the presidency and American democracy. Tragic
Miguell Schmerbeck walked across the stage at Bemidji High School's graduation in late May and looked out at a room full of families celebrating. Nobody was there for him.
His mother passed away when he was 13. He has no father, no siblings, no grandparents. He posted a TikTok of the moment — not expecting much — and wrote: "The hardest part wasn't graduating. It was watching everyone else celebrate with the people who showed up for them."
The video has since been viewed nearly 20 million times.
Miguell has been couch-hopping, working doubles to cover rent and basic expenses, and trying to save for college — all without a support system most people take for granted. A GoFundMe he created has raised over $23,000 toward a $26,000 goal, driven entirely by strangers who saw themselves in his story.
He also just announced a graduation party on June 26 at Diamond Point Park in Bemidji — and everyone is invited.

There are approximately 50 left on Earth.
The Rice's whale.
Somewhere in the deep blue water of the Gulf of Mexico, roughly 60 miles off the coast of Pensacola, Florida, lives a whale you've probably never heard of.
Dark charcoal gray on top, pale underneath, up to 42 feet long. It communicates in low, soft frequencies. It was only recognized as its own distinct species in 2021 — it existed before that. We just didn't know what it was.
Every single one lives in the Gulf of Mexico. This is the only place they exist. Nowhere else on the planet.
The 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill killed an estimated 17% of the entire Rice's whale population.
They nearly didn't survive that.
Now this.
There is a government committee officially called the Endangered Species Committee — nicknamed the "God Squad" because of its power to determine the fate of species.
In its entire existence, it has only voted four times. Hegseth convened it on March 31, 2026 — for the first time in over 30 years —
and invoked national security to strip Endangered Species Act protections from vulnerable wildlife in the Gulf of Mexico.
They just did. For oil.
Hegseth requested the exemption claiming environmental lawsuits protecting
these species were a threat to national security.
Earthjustice was direct — there are no oil and gas projects in the Gulf currently being
held up by the Endangered Species Act. Not one.
The exemption also strips protections
from five sea turtle species, Florida manatees, and migratory shorebirds.
Did you know a committee exists in our government with the legal power to strip a species of its last protections? They just used it. What do you think should happen next?

Three male National Guard soldiers approach a woman while she sits alone on a bench outside her home.
As she attempts to walk back inside, the soldiers physically surround her and block her from leaving.
On the audio, she says clearly, “You have absolutely no authority to detain me” and “get…away from me” before screaming for help as the soldiers close in on her, tackle her to the ground, and handcuff her.
Community members who witness law enforcement agents interacting with individuals should record the incident.
Footage and photos should be sent to [email protected].

Trump's National Guard surge violently detains U.S. citizen—for holding a sign.
She was standing on her own front porch.
3 soldiers block her from entering her home—tackle her to ground.
"Help! Help! You're breaking my arm!"
she cries.
"You came onto my property—you have no authority to detain me!"
Trump Administration announced a "surge" in the number of National Guard and ICE agents in DC to at least 5,000 last month.
On at least three additional occasions in the last two weeks, National Guard soldiers have handcuffed and detained people in DC.
This footage was submitted to FilmThePoliceDC on June 2.
Incident occurred in the Truxton Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C.
The @ACLU shares a note from a client detained by ICE and imprisoned at Camp East Montana: “The conditions here are inhumane and cruel. No human being should have to go through this… severely violent treatment by guards…”
@BohuslavskaKate 4 yrs of listening to these ppl on repeat. They need to help Ukraine finish this war so Ukraine can finally live in peace.Ukrainians deserve & need peace not words. 🇨🇦🇺🇦🫶🏼
Macron: All those who told us six months ago that Ukraine was going to collapse, wouldn't make it through winter, that we had to hurry up and accept unacceptable — Ukrainians, with strength and courage, have once again proven them wrong. Now it's up to us to build lasting peace.
The screwworm program wasn't charity, it was a $10 million fence that kept a billion-dollar problem from eating our own livestock alive. That's the thing with most USAID funding: it looks like "aid," but it's really cheap self-defense. Solve a problem there, and it never lands on our doorstep. But sure, let a bunch of guys who can't define DEI without Googling take a chainsaw to it. They didn't stop to ask, "Will this cut hurt us too?" Unless that's the point, burn it all down and call it efficiency.
As usual our inept agriculture secretary, blaming the Biden administration as usual, instead of offering a solution to the problem they created.
Texan here
A screwworm infestation is a nightmare for cattle, causing horrific wounds and economic devastation. For Texas, the situation has escalated dramatically in the last 24 hours with the first confirmed case of New World Screwworm (NWS) in over 60 years! This could have been avoided!
Infested animal can kill a cow in less than two weeks.
Treatment is extremely difficult and time-consuming, requiring the painful removal of every visible larva and deep disinfection of the wound. Ranchers no longer have much experience with this labor-intensive process, and there is currently no approved pharmaceutical treatment to make it easier.
This has triggered a massive economic threat. The USDA estimates that a widespread outbreak would drain an astonishing $1.8 billion from the Texas economy alone in livestock deaths, labor, and medication expenses.
How will this affect you? Tightening supplies will drive already high beef prices higher.

@PolycomputingAI I have lots to say about the atrocities being committed by Bibi Netanyahu in the name of the Israeli people. It must end. And there must be a two state solution. There must be a way for Palestinians and Israelis to live in peace. The murder of innocents is murder period.
2. Institutional Corruption:
"Quid Pro Quo"
The shift back to oil is widely viewed as a result of systemic #Corruption. Trump’s infamous request for a $1 billion campaign donation from oil executives in exchange for deregulation is the clearest example of "pay-to-play" politics, sacrificing national progress for private gain.
Solar energy and advanced battery technologies are of central importance to the US and Europe for strategic, economic and environmental reasons. They are the cornerstones of a modern, independent energy supply. 💚🌿
Why solar power and battery technology are so important:☝️
Energy security & independence:
They reduce dependence on fossil fuel imports (oil/gas), particularly from politically unstable regions.
Economic leadership:
The sector creates jobs and is a key market of the future. Europe and the US are competing here with China, which currently leads in production.
Climate protection & decarbonisation:
Both are essential for achieving climate targets (e.g. the EU’s 2050 targets) and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Grid stability & cost-effectiveness:
Battery energy storage systems (BESS) solve the problem of the volatility of solar and wind power by storing energy and releasing it when needed. They stabilise the grid and reduce peak electricity prices.
Why Trump’s anti-renewables policy (as of 2025/2026) is considered harmful:
According to reports from 2025/2026, Trump’s policy, which relies on fossil fuels and curtails renewable energy (and its promotion), leads to the following negative consequences for the US:
Loss of jobs & investment:
According to studies, the cutting of subsidies (such as the Inflation Reduction Act) and tariffs on solar panels have resulted in the loss of tens of thousands of jobs and billions in investment.
Higher electricity prices:
By curbing the expansion of wind and solar energy, the costs of electricity generation and project development are rising.
Supply insecurity:
The delay of projects (e.g. offshore wind) jeopardises the urgently needed modernisation of the US electricity grid.
Technological lag:
By holding back the domestic battery industry, the US is ceding leadership in a key technology to China.
Defiance boom:
Interestingly, reports from April 2026 indicate that despite Trump’s political battle against renewables, the solar and storage boom is continuing in some sectors, as the technologies are now economically viable (cheaper) and demand is high, even though the potential is not being fully exploited. #ClimateAction #CleanEnergy

@factpostnews The Permian basin, accounting for half of US oil production, is an ecological disaster. It will never be cleaned up. There is a reason why the refuge has been off limits.

“Albania is not for sale. Albania belongs to the Albanian people, and we decide what we want to do here.
It's not that some corrupted politicians can decide what they can do with our property.
He's trying to trade our country as a personal property of him and his family and his collaborators.
We want him to resign.”
