@micayla_zee A fellow rotisserie chicken sleeper 🙋🏻‍♀️ which makes this so complicated. Well from my many days of laying at the mattress store, I found that the hybrid mattress (coil base w foam top) felt the best especially when I was on my side and didn’t give the sinking feeling.

@micayla_zee Ahhh man. Sorry! Trying to find a mattress is actually INSANE. I was on Reddit for months 🥲. I tried a firming topper from Helix (on the soft mattress) and it didnt work for me either. What mattress do you have? Are you a side or back sleeper?

@micayla_zee @UndeniableOps I think the firm base plus a memory topper could have been enough for me. I felt instant relief of my back pain that I was dealing with for a year. So you could try that (hopefully within a return window) and see if that helps before investing into another mattress

@micayla_zee @UndeniableOps Unfortunately I spent a fortune on a tempurpedic and it’s reaaaaally good for me but it takes a long time to break in. HOWEVER, between getting the tempurpedic, I bought a memory foam topper from Amazon and put it on my firm mattress and it was like night and day. (2)

@micayla_zee @UndeniableOps Ok so maybe a solution. I was in a similar situation. I had a firm mattress for 10+ years that I put a cheap memory foam topper and had no issues until my back suddenly started hurting bc old. I trialed a softer mattress and it was waaaay worse. (1)
