I built Memephant in public.
It's early. It's rough. But the core idea works —
switch between ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Perplexity
without re-explaining your project every time.
I'm one person. Ship it broken, fix it together.
Try it and tell me what breaks
Stop re-explaining your project to every AI.
Memephant keeps your project context local and now supports dedicated AI, Software, Game, and Job Hunt workspaces.
Project Agent is next 🚀

That’s the problem I’m trying to solve.
Not replacing ChatGPT/Claude — more like giving your project a portable memory layer so each AI can pick up faster.
Exactly. The pain is not “AI forgot one answer.”
It’s when you’re 20 sessions into a project and every new chat needs the same backstory before it can help properly.
I’m building this in public because the problem is easier to solve with real workflows.
My use case: I switch between AI tools while building apps, and I got tired of re-explaining the same repo, decisions, bugs, and next steps.
This is not a polished “big company” launch.
It’s an early solo-builder release.
The core idea works. Now I need real users to tell me where the workflow is clunky, confusing, or missing something obvious.
I’m especially looking for people who:
- use more than one AI tool
- work on coding/design/business projects over multiple sessions
- hate losing context
- don’t mind rough early software
Tell me what breaks or what feels confusing.
The current loop:
1. Save your project context in Memephant
2. Copy a prompt for the AI tool you’re using
3. Work in ChatGPT / Claude / Grok / Perplexity
4. Paste the AI’s update back into Memephant
5. Keep going in the next AI without starting again
The annoying bit I’m trying to fix:
AI tools are powerful, but your project memory gets trapped in each chat.
Memephant gives you a portable project memory you can carry between tools.

Best fit right now: builders who bounce between ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Perplexity, or local AI tools and are tired of rebuilding context every time.
For context I built this because I kept switching
between Claude and ChatGPT mid-project and having to
re-explain everything from scratch every single time.
Took me months of nights and weekends.
Stack: Tauri + Rust + React. Fully local, no tracking.

@AgbaleE65485 thanks bro its early doors still debugging it and working around the clock. real pain switching platforms and the AI hallucinates and you spend more time fixing the errors than building it keeps your data local too if you want to keep your project private.

Hey, I'm Kris – solo programmer & student building https://t.co/Tqvphg0mk1 on my own.
I'm not a big company. I'm one person who codes everything myself and wants to create a bit of passive income while helping real people in the aesthetics space.
