The year-round sale of E15 will be a huge win for producers in South Dakota and will boost the agriculture economy and rural communities across the country.
Passage of a farm bill is vital to give producers certainty in the years ahead, and I remain committed to getting it to the president’s desk to secure critical wins for South Dakota’s farmers and ranchers.
Farm Bill 2.0 includes a provision to authorize the year-round sale of E15—providing greater certainty for consumers, supporting American biofuels and creating stronger markets for our farmers.
It's time to advance this bipartisan measure to the Senate floor.

Great to tour @DakotaState Applied Research Corporation and discuss how South Dakota can be a leader when it comes to cybersecurity and national intelligence.
Honored to receive the Hero of Main Street Award today at Graham Tire in Sioux Falls. Small businesses are the backbone of our communities, and I will continue to do all I can to help them grow and thrive.
I’m glad that congressional Republicans not only prioritized removing the threat of another dangerous government shutdown, but we did our job weeks before the deadline and with bipartisan support. While funding the government is one of our most basic responsibilities, my hope is that this effort proves that government shutdowns serve no one, and we should quickly complete our work on the fiscal year 2027 appropriations process.
Glad to have a conversation in Moody County this afternoon with sheriffs from around the area. I appreciate all the work law enforcement does to keep us safe.
Visited Spearfish High School to see their Career and Technical Education Center. This facility will continue to help shape the future leaders of our state.
Stopped by @BlackHillsState today to talk with President Elliot, student groups, and Athletic Director Mark Nore. Thank you for having me, and go Yellow Jackets!
Always enjoy going to Mitchell for Dakotafest. Had a great discussion about the need to pass the farm bill to secure critical wins for South Dakota’s farmers and ranchers and ensure the year-round sale of E15.
@LeaderJohnThune is a strong advocate for farmers. He voted to advance Farm Bill 2.0 and make E15 available year-round.
It’s time to deliver certainty for American farmers and rural communities by passing this critical, long-overdue legislation.

Great to be on hand for the groundbreaking of the James Abdnor Center for Advanced Manufacturing at Southeast Technical College today. Proud to honor the legacy of my friend and mentor, the late Sen. Jim Abdnor, with members of his family, former staff, and long-time friends.
