Finally Keiko started doing her thing which was adding her own images and backgrounds which I am only thinking of doing now with my own images. This one is a lot of fun and involved he son and her husband, a real family effort!

And since I have been here in Va. I haven't made any gifs although I have been working on Keiko's latest poem about Buddha and Jesus. Trying to make either figure was really a challenge! But I will keep that one a secret until the gif is finally put together. In the meantime...

Finally this was about the last one I did before leaving Grass Valley, Ca. The trip in our VW camper van was long and difficult but finally we made it to Virginia...

Valentine's day was upon us and I had this idea:

This bear was made with the litter from a very prolific tree called Heavenly Tree from China I think!

As the flowers in my garden starated blooming I was inspired to continue when I got a chance...

The we were thinking of moving to Virginia so I didn't have much time to do many things with leaves, but here are a few:

Chinese New Year was not so complicated!

Then Christmas was a big challenge, must not have had much to do because it was so complicated and took a long time!

Eventually I got back to making gifs:

Then I still wanted to work with white leaves, so I decided to try Pegasus:

And then finally my favorite one, the barn owl: The eyes are perfect, they are seaweed I gathered at the beach at Monterey.

And I advanced from there to do a white snowy owl

I enjoyed making the chicken with all the feathers and that prompted me to try other white birds:

Finally I illustrated one called "The Chicken Crosses the Road" and that led to my going in a slightly different direction with my images:

I have not been posting for a long time but would like to catch up now: After I got onto PBS a lady from New York contacted me and asked if I would illustrate some of her poetry. I agreed and here are the things that happened when she did her thing!
