These hydration breaks are a joke. We are in North America, not the Sahara. Soccer has been played in heat since the sport existed and nobody needed a TV timeout to survive it. Let's call it out for what it is... An opportunity to add even more commercials to sports.
@JessfromTO Which kind of adds merit to my point about bringing people together. The country in shambles now, during and after. Why not enjoy one another in celebration for a time period to find some form of happiness? I hope you find the happiness you speak of in a couple weeks!
@JessfromTO The city finds reasons for taxes for everything. Taxes would go up for another reason if not this. A whole city/country coming together as one, hopefully celebrating together. That is invaluable to me. More to life than money. Hugging your neighbour in happiness is priceless
@JessfromTO I get its not for everyone but it’s hard not to get swept up in the emotion. And this is the biggest sporting event in the world. Our country is in it, and we are hosting. Legit could be once in a lifetime thing
@gfienberg17@TourPicks Also, he was on the radio with the overdrive guys saying he would always wear it but not allowed if he’s outside a 100 km radios. I found that interesting
Gotta feel sorry for these Knicks players for having to play in such in a big market.
I'm sure Brunson wishes he was playing for a team in a tax-free state with warm weather. Somewhere with less media and where no one would recognize him
@MrBradThomas@BucketJonBets Turkey can win the group. Could play Bosnia in 32 and beat them. Could play Belgium in 16 or the Czech and beat them as well. Then would set them up vs Spain and it ends there but quarters is not a stretch
@HennyTweets What about everyone else who didn’t win? Thornton, Dionne, Gartner, hawerchuk, iginla, bure, park etc. people only use OV and SY as examples. 9 years of absolute shit when it counted is not a small sample size of patience. Also MLSE wanted him, he was too much a baby to stay
@PierreVLeBrun@FriedgeHNIC I could have tweeted this. Can you say something of relevance? You m you wanting the season to end by the end of May isn’t that
This is the wildest World Cup story yet. If someone in Toronto sells a ticket above face value they get fined $25,000 yet the city of Toronto bought 3,500 World Cup tickets early and then sold them to taxpayers at a markup as a “revenue generation strategy.” What the hell man.
@danriccio_@sportsrage I thought he was the best player on the field and did a lot of real good things. Goal was icing. Oluwaseyi was a close second in my mind
