@KelseyMBrickl@noturtlesoup17 One disabled person doesn't mean every one gets their phones. That person may get an accommodation, but if they pull it out to film then kick them the fuck out.
@Elvis_Allan_Poe@Seanchuckle That's not a classic book though, that's modern. If you said "classic" I would imagine it's not written in my mom's youth.
Are you just incapable of describing book themes to people? Or is your reasoning too embarrassing?
@richard_normal Easy, face value resale only. Tickets are all electric now so if you find seats up for sale for more than face you revoke them with no refund. If it's a season ticket holder and you have a wait then you revoke the rest of their season and first on the list is in.
@Vern_Funquist Well it's not the schools spending the money, if it was then we could talk. As long as rich donors wanna spend their money on it (as they've done for over 40 years) then they will keep it going. These schools make billions off of it, it's not going to bankrupt anyone.
@nowhere2go74@notthefakeDNP@be_trades That's how it's always been. What, it's a problem now that some SEC teams might get put in the position Texas Tech has been in for ages?
The UNLVs have never been able to get a top QB, yet they still play football. That's not going to change just because NIL.
@BudvarCat@tipping_pitches They are 100% not seperate. They only make money from their association to the teams. The teams are used in advertising them. That is baseball revenue. That's like saying hot dogs aren't baseball revenue because technically they're seperate from the actual game. Or parking.
@RobSilver Incorrect. A new team will grow the pie, but owners know they've got to win the CBA negotiations first so they can charge more on expansion fees and get even richer.
@johnnyrockets27 Stars will give up some, but capped leagues tell us it's the Kike Hernandez's who are hurt the most. Matt Stafford will get paid. OT3 who absolutely will play Cuz it's football has to take a cheaper contract since Stafford has a big cap hit, and all OT3s are in the same spot.
@vikinick_@tipping_pitches The union is protecting them most of all. A hard cap the rich players still are rich, but the team goes to the guy who is just above replacement level and says they can only pay him X Cuz of the soto contract.
@TFG_Football No, they still get 60m, the second baseman just gets 1m instead of 5 million, the relief guy gets 800k instead of 1m, the left fielder takes 8m instead of 15m, etc..
@BudvarCat@tipping_pitches Even "open book" the league will lie. The Ricketts make a lot of money owning property around the baseball field because its by Wrigley. They will never accept that as baseball revenue for the books, but it's revenue only posible because of baseball.
@FoolishBB ร general public that is taught from birth to fear anything related to Marx can't fathom actual economics like this. They don't have the tools to grasp the realities of the economy.
@Lutezorz@BeaneaterB They can all retain those players. Tarik Skubal is going to leave Detroit so Chris can make 1m more dollars a year. Team values go up, contracts are tax write offs, no team is losing money keeping their stars. Certain teams just want money over wins.
@daniel111112907@BeaneaterB Let me know when the Jets or Lions win the Superbowl. Hell let me know when they go to one, Cuz neither has done it in forever. You want to talk parity, the ncfn has two SB appearances and one win in 25 years. That's an eight of the league.
