@kenklippenstein Platner is not working class.
Working class implies that he actually lives off the money he earns instead of just living off his parents' income.
@PatrickRuffini Alternatively:
It's a California Constitution-protected right to decide literally as your postal worker picks up your mail on election day to choose who to vote for.
@NickyFrank30 I'm willing to bet more than half would have gone for Becerra.
The ones still remaining likely were voting for Porter as a progressive alternative to Steyer.
@paulmitche11@AP@SteveHiltonx I think we're at like 10% chance for Steyer to get 2nd at this point (maybe lower).
AP usually doesn't call races until it's more sure than that.
@Garrett_Archer I think that estimate includes mail-in ballots but the real reason is that turnout is like 15%+ higher than expected with a lot of that being driven by mail-in ballots.
@chriswithans After election night most counties only update once a day, usually in the afternoon/evening.
San Diego for instance is updating today probably right before 6 and then updating on Monday at 6 after that.
@EndWokeness Yes in fact this is going to set a record for number of votes in a primary in a non-presidential election year (beating 2022 by like 15%).
@marielgarzaGS I would rather people be able to vote easily and have the ability to cure ballots than whatever the hell people are advocating to change.
@Rasmussen_Poll@JBBlackClover Spoiler alert: it didn't happen
The reported vote from all official sources has included votes for Pratt.
This screenshot is from a news outlet that made a mistake and input numbers for all the candidates except Pratt and then updated Pratt's numbers within a minute after.
@PollTracker2024 I am begging literally everyone quote tweeting this to read H. Con Res 84 and H. Con Res 108 and realize why Dems are planning to vote for 108 and not 84 (both intro'd by Tlaib).

@AdamSchefter Really difficult to see this as anything but the Bears having their bluff called like a preteen threatening to run away from home and now they're walking out the front door and keep looking back like "are you sure?"
@Wilson__Valdez I regret to inform every Platner supporter that Susan Collins is one of the most electorally gifted Senators in our nation's history and Platner has already, in fact, lost November.
@NickyFrank30 Downballot republicans crushed underfoot in November while both Steyer and Becerra try to appeal to more moderate voters to woo them over? Sign me the fuck up!
