@MikeHerndonSk1 Yesterday’s o-line performance felt like the old Munchak days. Started a random guy claimed off waivers a couple weeks ago, and you hardly noticed him.
Been very impressed with Bricillo’s work.
@TitansMan97 This is the silver lining of the season so far. Having Latham turn out to be a good player is massive. Hopefully RT is locked down for the foreseeable future.
When I say the same as the Lions, I’m referring to having a great HC who has no play-calling chops of his own. Completely reliant on making home run hires.
Vrabel has never had much DC success. The Titans one year without a DC was a disaster.
Titans had the same problem with Vrabel a few years back. Excellent head coach, if he can hire great coordinators.
The moment you make poor hiring decisions - ie Downing and Bowen - team performance falls off a cliff. Plus he’s stubborn, those were obviously bad hires.
Lions twitter is a warzone today
My official stance:
There was no way to move on from Dan Campbell for Ben Johnson. Framing that as if it was ever a choice is idiocy
The regret is not winning it while you had Ben. Blown SF lead + 15-2 loss to Jayden Daniels will haunt forever
Hard to believe this is controversial. I thought it was obvious Cam was the biggest problem with the offense Sunday.
That’s not to say he won’t get better. I think he will. But for now, it’s problematic that the guy drafted to elevate the offense is the one most holding it back.
I’m not against the idea that there is blame that can be spread around, but Ward is the biggest problem with the #Titans offense right now.
I would also say he is the player most likely to bounce back from a physical tools/mental makeup standpoint.
Still, this team won’t be better until he plays better.
I really don’t think it’s hyperbole to say that: from the moment Todd Downing got his DUI after the Packers game in 2022 until now, this has been the worst stretch of Titans football we’ve ever seen.
And I remember the seasons of 2013-2014
@TicTacTitans There aren’t many games on the schedule that you can realistically think, “Hey, we should probably win this game.” And then we go on to get beat badly.
My expectations for this team really couldn’t be lower. And yet somehow they can’t even clear that bar.
@BrandonThornNFL Aside from Cam Ward, the biggest question the Titans must answer this season is whether they need 1 starting tackle next offseason or 2.
