I honestly feel like feelings are anathema to me, but somehow the writings of @leahginnivan bring them out in a way I appreciate. This writing is a must read (also Leah please write a book, I beg): https://t.co/K8lAQfWp5q
In fact, she said both that her govt had “absolutely met” the recommendation, and that it will “continue to work” on it with the federal government, which has never agreed to it.
The independent monitor’s take: “There has been no progress on the crux of this recommendation.”
This claim by the NT Chief Minister today — that her govt has implemented its Beetaloo Basin climate commitment — is at worst false and at best highly arguable.

Natasha Fyles said she's "happy to seek some advice" around what - if anything - Commonwealth is currently offering to help with the promise to offset all emissions from the Beetaloo. This is after years of "conversations are ongoing" responses when asked.

One quarter of GPs plan to retire in the next 5 years - 7500 GPs. More than 40% of GPs are over 55. Only 13.8% of medical students wish to enter GP training. 1350 GPs are trained every year by the #RACGP. A deficit of over 10 000 GPs is expected by 2032. Why? @Mark_Butler_MP /6

Read this! From @leahginnivan on birth, death and grief “…this is why some of the most damaging experiences are the ones where we are cast out from connection – like shaming and discrimination and exile, or abuse that is never acknowledged or repaired” https://t.co/jT0mmLvo03
@_thebeste Also I hadn’t really thought about how our misconceptions about type 2 diabetes might affect people with type 1. I think ‘preventable’ is very different from ‘your own fault if you get it’ but sadly that attitude is still common.
@_thebeste Thanks! I've just had a lot of people message/subscribe the last week and my newsletter circulation has been very tiny up until now (just friends etc) - wasn't sure where from!
