No. This is false. I helped to create two different billion-user projects at Apple: WebKit and iPhone. I was on these teams from the earliest stages and I never once came close to sleeping at the office. It’s not an essential part of doing great work.

To reach your target, you must first build the right process. But to build the right process, you must focus on the target, not on the process. It's too easy for processes to take a life of their own and forget the goal they were serving.
Especially if we come to rely on these datasets (via some implementation of AI) and don't realise our experiences are being limited by the datasets we use
