GTA 6 trading app leak? Be careful.
A clip is going around showing a "CoinSide" phone app where you can buy and sell Dacity Coin.
[CONFIRMED] Dacity Coin is in GTA 6. A plane with Dacity Coin branding appears in the official Launch Trailer (0:55). The coin was first seen in leaked Lucia footage on Oct 11.
[UNCONFIRMED] The CoinSide app. It hasn't shown up in any official footage or preview.
Red flags:
- The clip shows keyboard controls (ENTER, BACKSPACE). GTA 6 only launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
- The phone floats over a blurred background. In GTA 6, Jason and Lucia physically hold their phones.
- It carries a leek mascot, the branding of Cyberleek, who runs his own memecoin.
A real Solana token called Dacity has pumped off GTA 6 hype. It has no connection to Rockstar.
Don't buy any coin because of a GTA 6 leak.

GTA 6 has more than double the pre-orders Modern Warfare 2 had at the same point before launch.
[UNCONFIRMED] Sensor Tower estimates 6.08 million digital pre-orders as of Oct 13, worth around $594 million.
[UNCONFIRMED] That's 148% ahead of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022) at the same stage. Diablo 4, Hogwarts Legacy and Spider-Man 2 were compared too and all trail far behind.
Important: these are estimates for US digital pre-orders only. Physical copies and other countries aren't included, so the real total is higher. Rockstar and Take-Two haven't shared official numbers.
Analysts expect 30 to 50+ million copies sold in the first year.

LEAK CHECK: The GTA 6 "Hypercar" clip is making the rounds again.
[UNCONFIRMED] This supercar highway footage at sunset appears to come from Cyberleek's "Hypercar" leak, first posted in August. It's at least two months old.
That's the second time today it has been reshared as "new."
Rockstar has never confirmed any of the leaked footage.

Correction: We got this one wrong.
The "new GTA 6 footage" clip we shared last night is GTA 5, either the PS5 version or modded. The HUD, minimap and labels give it away. We've deleted the original post.
Thanks to everyone who flagged it, especially @ManOfGranduer. Treat the clip as FAKE.
This GTA 6 driving clip is going viral again, but it isn't new.
[UNCONFIRMED] It appears to be from Cyberleek's "Hypercar" leak in August, where Jason steals a Bugatti-style hypercar and drives around Vice City at sunset.
[CONFIRMED] Take-Two has filed subpoenas against Microsoft and Discord to identify Cyberleek.
The original carried Cyberleek's watermarks and a push for his memecoin. Reuploads often crop them out.
Rockstar has never confirmed any Cyberleek footage.

RUMOR CHECK: When do GTA 6 reviews drop? There are 4 claims, and they don't all fit together.
[CONFIRMED] GTA 6 launches Nov 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not announced a review date.
[UNCONFIRMED] Insider Gaming: reviews go live before launch.
[UNCONFIRMED] NateTheHate: review copies go out by the end of October.
[UNCONFIRMED] BlackBate: embargo lifts Nov 18, codes either Oct 26 or Nov 2β8.
[UNCONFIRMED] A Brazilian games journalist: no review codes at all, critics play at closed Rockstar events.
If the last one is true, there are no "codes" to wait for.

LEAK CHECK: This "new Cyberleek video" is fake.
The highway in the clip is from GTA 5's map, not GTA 6, likely with graphics mods. Someone added Cyberleek's "Show Support, Trade $Cyberleek" watermark on top to make it look like a leak.
Copying a watermark takes seconds. It proves nothing.
Cyberleek announced on Oct 14 that the leaks are over. Treat every "new Cyberleek video" with caution.

LEAK CHECK: This is not new footage.
The beach bike ride is Cyberleek's "GTA 6: BEACH" clip from late August, two months ago. Kotaku, Screen Rant and Game Rant all covered it back then. The original $CYBERLEEK watermark is still on it.
Selling two-month-old leaks as "new footage" for engagement misleads people who want real news or are trying to avoid spoilers.
If it's old, say it's old.

Miami is becoming Vice City. Here's everything Rockstar has actually done on the ground, less than four weeks before launch.

This "new" GTA 6 leak is actually a compilation of older Cyberleek footage.
The 1-minute clip, reuploaded from TikTok, mixes several scenes:
[UNCONFIRMED] A dirt bike race, which appears to come from Cyberleek's 25-minute video from Oct 8.
[UNCONFIRMED] Jason depositing $15,000 at an ATM. The Oct 11 Lucia leak showed the same $15,000 limit and BuckMe banking.
[UNCONFIRMED] Jason walking out of a house, a scene that also shows up in other recent reuploads.
The bank balance in the ATM scene reads over $113 billion. That's hardly a normal playthrough.
Cyberleek announced on Oct 14 that the leaks are over "for now." Clips sold as "just dropped" should be treated as recuts unless proven otherwise.
Rockstar has never confirmed any of the leaked footage.

LEAK CHECK: A "new GTA 6 songs playlist leak" is circulating. It's from August.
[UNCONFIRMED] The radio wheel in the clip appears to come from Cyberleek's August leaks, which showed stations like V-Rock, Emotion 98.3, Symphony FM and Radio On-U.
[CONFIRMED] Rockstar officially revealed the first six radio stations on Oct 8, including Flash FM, Cocoteo FM and Back Country Radio, with audio previews on the GTA 6 website.
The account sharing it uses the name "Cyber Leak" and promotes a Telegram group for "daily leak updates." Cyberleek announced on Oct 14 that the leaks are over.
Don't join random leak groups or buy their coins.
