We clearly need a full inquiry into Hampshire Police actions and circumstances in the years up to the horrific murder to identify whether prior failures meant this was a preventable death.
I have had multiple discussions with Sikh leaders on the Henry Nowak tragedy
A former SNP Treasurer wants the party accounts audited for the last 10 years.
John Swinney should agree immediately.
Unless, of course, he's worried about what might be uncovered...
I’ve watched barbaric footage in Belfast last night of attempted beheading in a supposedly civilised country.
Just to make it clear, I’m disgusted, many people will be. Whatever Elon Musk, Nigel Farage & JD Vance say won’t “whip up” anything, the situation already created fury.
The Murrell affair has made Scotland an international laughing stock and has badly damaged Scotland’s global reputation. The SNP scandal has been widely reported across the world and provided rich material for comedy shows. Mockery is hard to recover from.
"If you want to get rid of Keir Starmer then Andy Burnham could do that."
"[Robert] is a proper local champion."
Laila Cunningham, Reform UK candidate for London Mayor, discusses her support for Robert Kenyon, Reform's candidate in the Makerfield by-election.

They couldn't get through the door marked democracy. So they found one nobody would dare close. Marked it protect our children. That key is Digital ID. And it opens everything. Once it turns it never turns back.
Keir Starmer has used children as a shield his entire career. First to avoid prosecuting abusers. Now to seize control of the internet.
His name is on the document that gave suspected child rapists a warning letter instead of handcuffs.
13,000 letters issued. In Newcastle 220 warning notices handed to suspects in one grooming gang instead of charges.
Maggie Oliver exposed Rochdale. She worked a case with 97 identified child abusers. Expected rape charges on an industrial scale. Instead a couple of men got warning letters. Her conclusion. They were used to get rid of a job.
Same man. Same shield. Fifteen years later.
64% of child sexual abuse is physical. Not a screen. Not autoplay. Not a like button. A room. A door. A child who wasn't believed.
1,200 children safeguarded from grooming gangs every single month RIGHT NOW. Arrests going UP not down. It never stopped.
Then this morning he picked up the same shield.
The most sweeping internet controls Britain has ever seen. No Parliament. No scrutiny. No vote. Everyone's ID. Everyone's data. Every search. Every click. Forever. And once that infrastructure exists it never goes away. It always expands.
Every click tracked. Every search logged. Every dissenting voice identified.
Australia tried it first. Banned under 16s in December 2025. Within months 61% of children still had access. It didn’t work.
Every government that has moved to control the internet used children as the reason. Every single one. China. Russia. Iran. North Korea.
Australia proves it doesn’t protect children. The others prove what it’s really for.
Digital ID is the key. Children are the door.
Whoever controls the internet controls the conversation and tonight he told Channel 4 he has a VERY hard line on protecting children. He does.
Just never the ones who needed it.
Labour’s Lord Foulkes is asked here if he’s heard of the murdered mother Rhiannon Skye Whyte, killed by an illegal from the hotel she worked at. He hadn’t. He then attacks Michelle for criticising Labour. Men like Foulkes show how utterly contemptible and out of touch they are.
Enough is enough.
Female prisoners have committed serious crimes and should be punished.
But they should not be put in danger.
The Supreme Court ruling was clear that sex means biological sex.
Labour must immediately remove all men from women’s prisons and shut down E-Wing at HMP Downview.

I’m sorry but this @LaraBirdSNP act is hilarious.
@theSNP are seriously asking Arbroath to believe that a Pyra Bird-Leakey, Westminster-polished, King’s-adjacent, international-law, dynastic-posh East African colonial biography has simply emerged from the harbour like a local lassie with a leaflet.
It’s dress-up for people who think voters are mugs.
Another upstanding individual representing @UKLabour
What a vile individual he is! Rude and obnoxious @GeorgeFoulkes
Goes on @GBNEWS but hates it!
Why are they all so utterly appalling!
Keir Starmer, spooked by Andy Burnham, apparently wants to leave a legacy, in much the same way that a herd of buffalo, scenting a lion, leave a legacy on the prairie.
The Prime Minister has settled on banning children from social media, and possibly also installing some yet-to-be-invented software that will prevent under-16s from viewing porn or taking and sending photos of their naked bodies. Childrens's Commissioner Rachel de Souza has further mooted extending these provisions to include 16 and 17-year-olds.
So, Labour is planning to give 16-year-olds the vote, while simultaneously forbidding them to scroll through Instagram. Why is Labour so excised by social media in particular?
And where will the social media crackdown stop? Does the government intend to include messaging platforms, like WhatsApp or Snapchat, in the ban? Something about this smells.

Honestly, if you're a Labour MP who's a long-term but totally secret Terf, and you're still making foolish ignorant statements about the EHRC code to save yourself, do you really think women who've you've watched being bullied by the LP over the years will keep yr secret forever?
There are similarities between Henry Nowak, 18, Grace O’Malley Kumar and Barney Webber, 19.
Glorious young people, they were robbed of their lives because awful, unprofessional services were more concerned to preserve themselves than the lives they are paid to protect.
Well done to Signal for speaking up.
It's obvious that this isn't really about keeping children safe, it's about giving the state greater surveillance powers over ordinary citizens.
The same politicians claiming the moral high ground on child protection are the ones who voted against a national rape gang inquiry.
Forgive me if I don't take their lectures on safeguarding seriously.
