@RealMikeRother This is one of the biggest obstacles in coaching starter katas. Coaching folks to translate our ‘Problem’ into a ‘Challenge’. It’s interesting to see a ‘Problem’ mindset vs a ‘Challenge’ mindset
@RealMikeRother the more we extend our kata reach...the more we get challenged on the kata verbiage. should we be open to our audience's vernacular? If so, what are the unintended consequences in your experience?
@MarkGraban Great book! Read it twice and install some reflection time after each chapter. There are so many gems in here that it is difficult soak the info in after just one pass.
@RealMikeRother I am having some challenges with explaining to Learners the appropriate level or "elevation" to establish Vision, Challenge, and then Target Condition. Some learners deliver a Challenge thats "in the weeds" and others deliver "pie in the sky". Thoughts?
@MarkGraban i like them if there is actual curiosity backing the question. If the open ended question is only asked to make your own point, then i think we have lost the intended spirit of the coach-learner dynamic
