I've visited Overdose Prevention Sites in 4 countries, Australia, Portugal, Spain & Denmark. My biggest hope was the next one I'd visit was in Scotland but I'm abt to visit one in a 5th country.

We always have to remember that drug policy fits into the broader context of society: Homelessness, mental health, domestic violence and disturbance, all issues which correlate to drug laws. We’re seeing some serious examples of this across the globe, especially in the US.
Prohibition fuels gangs, crime, violence and unregulated drugs with unknown purity and content.
It's time we end this façade and started engaging sensibly with the issues.

To everyone who doesn't support supervised consumption sites for inhalation/ injection for people who are using drugs then you are basically supporting open drug use. Drug users will always do what's necessary to look out for each other when health services aren't created to support them.
