Don’t hide behind building.
Ship before it feels ready.
Put it in front of real users.
Find the signal.
Then move aggressively toward what works.
Speed is an advantage.
Feedback is fuel.
Execution is the difference.
Today with Paul Kedrosky speaking about building Supabase, now worth >10 Billion $.
The biggest lesson I took away:
The advantage is not just having a good idea.
It’s moving quickly, trying many things, and getting in front of users.
The cost of building has fallen dramatically.
Now everyone can build something.
So the advantage shifts to taste, speed, distribution, and community.
The best product is useless if it never reaches the right people.
Another point that stayed with me:
You do not need to beat a massive incumbent at everything.
You need a clear reason to exist.
Be faster.
Be simpler.
Be more focused.
Serve a specific user better.
