You are using NotebookLM wrong.

You upload sources. You read the summary. You think you're done.

But your sources include contradictions.

Paper A says remote work boosts productivity by 13%. Paper B says it drops productivity by 8%.

You won't catch that from a summary.

MEGA PROMPT

From papers on {topic}, identify major contradictions or conflicting findings. For each contradiction provide:

Specific claim from each side (quoted with citations)

Possible reasons for disagreement (method, sample, context)

What evidence would resolve the conflict

What I used for

I was preparing for a client meeting. They asked "what does the research say about AI adoption?"

I had 15 conflicting sources.

This prompt found every contradiction in 2 minutes.

Results

6 contradictions found: "AI increases productivity 40%" vs "AI shows no measurable impact"

Root cause: First study measured output quantity, second study measured output quality

Resolution path: "Measure both quantity AND quality in same experiment"
