We were delighted to hear that at last week's meeting of the Prince Phillip Trust Fund, chaired by His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh, funding was agreed for Learn About Britain to work with refugees and asylum seekers in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
“With this funding we can increase participants' knowledge of British history, culture and customs, reduce feelings of isolation, increase confidence in navigating the local area and build understanding of local history, culture and community life. We can't wait to get started.”

A Palestine Solidarity Campaign protest in the museum during our visit prompted further discussion on the language museums use to talk about different parts of the world - both historically and today - the legacy of the British Empire and the nature of protest in modern Britain.
