We want to share a vision of the incoming wave in the #m2m space:

#DataScience has migrated from monochromatic models to polychromatic ones thanks to the fact that now LLMs can interpret and manage inputs and
outcomes.

This creates new tensions in the #bigdata industry and particularly for the #datacollaboration space. Where the hot race right now is for the new vector databases--these allow #embeddings to be accessed, modified, and retrained, giving way to a new era of semantic similarity searches for context.

However, no one is addressing the real elephant in the room: #datamonetization.

#chatgpt, the most powerful #LLM out there right now was trained on years and years of internet data. Some was scraped, but much of it was negotiated with tools that you are currently feeding data to. And I'm not referring to meta or google only, any SaaS generates metrics that can be "anonymized" and sold (Spotify, SAP, Xerox, Video Games, you name it... go read the fine print).

This is something that the web3, particularly the #iota foundation, has spoken about plenty over the years.
@IOTA went as far as creating IOTA streams to allow microtransactions for data transferring, but like anything #web3, it got lost in the #speculation market.

It was also very hard to imagine world wide data collaboration outside of sensor data consumption when business owners can hardly achieve data collaboration inside their own businesses.

It wasn't until #Twitter and #Reddit decided to close of their free APIs that some -not enough, folk started to realize the amount of money revolving around data collaboration.

For context:
When a subreddit becomes private, it is making its corpus of language (questions and answers) unavailable for scraping, so technically it unincentivizes users to pay for an API that lets them scrape subreddits.

So what's does the future look like?

Near future (next year or so):
AI is just getting started, and its easier than ever to:
* Consume data through an LLM (try out Elen!)
* Monetize your own data (check out our data marketplace).

We are eagerly waiting for @shimmernet to launch the EVM to enable the decentralized AI to AI dialogue monetization through feeless microtransactions!

Next five years:
Big data will be required for next generation LLMs that live in virtual reality and video games.

DAOs will be truly #Smart contracts. (Get your head around that one).

Afterwards:
In the words of @elonmusk , the uncertainty is so great that we're probably at the edge of an existential crisis.
