Students chew gum for as long as we are doing our math fact “contest” and when they are done they spit it out, it helps connect the senses to the facts! Fun times!

We are using the candy donations as a tool to help us practice adding decimals!! My homeroom has donated almost 40 lbs of candy for Trunk or Treat so far! #AVCato #Golions #wewantthepizzaparty!

We are in the first stages of our end of the year PBL! Using what they have learned about financial literacy and other mathematics concepts this year to design their own food truck! They will use a budget to “buy” supplies and area and perimeter concepts to build the interior!
