OG Spurs fans (millennials and older) are being insufferably obnoxious right now for damn good reason. We grew up watching our beloved Spurs grow from a one time remote basketball outpost to the top of the NBA world. Had a whole DYNASTY be denigrated as boring. Our Big 3 (winningest of all time btw) disrespected. Our titles downplayed. Our franchise blamed when it was wronged by a deceitful, selfish star turning heel. Damn right we're gonna enjoy the hell out of this new rise. We are coming to collect our flowers that should have been proffered during the Popovich era. With fucking interest. If ANY fanbase deserves to be feted, it's San Antonio. No city adores its pro team more. It ain't just a game for us. It's passion. It's family.
